Frequently asked questions
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. PdfNib has no server for documents. Opening, editing and exporting all happen inside your browser. You can switch off the internet after the page loads and keep working.
- Where are my documents saved?
- In your browser's own storage on this device, so you can come back to them. Nothing is synced. Deleting a document from the library removes it, and clearing site data removes everything.
- Can I write in Bangla, Hindi or Arabic?
- Yes. PdfNib bundles Noto fonts for these scripts and shapes the text with HarfBuzz, the same engine browsers use, so conjuncts and joined letters export correctly.
- Does it cost anything?
- Editing, signing, stamping, merging and exporting are free with no account, no watermark and no ads, and so are blank, lined and graph paper in every size. - Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile. Large files need a device with enough memory, because the work happens on it.
