Your PDF stays on your device
Most online PDF tools send your file to a server. This one runs in your browser instead, so there is nothing to delete later and nothing to leak.
- Works offline. Load the page, turn off the internet, and it still works.
- No account, no watermark. The result is yours, with nothing added.
Frequently asked questions
- Why did my file barely shrink?
- Files that are mostly text are already compact; the savings come from photos and scans. If nothing can be gained, PdfNib gives you the original back rather than a worse copy.
- Does compression change the text?
- No. Text, fonts and vector drawings are kept exactly. Only images are resized and re-encoded, at the quality you chose.
- What does Pro add?
- The strong level, a cap on image resolution, grayscale conversion, and many files at once, downloaded as one zip. The work still runs in your browser, in a background thread.
- Is my PDF uploaded?
- No. Images are re-encoded by your browser on your device, and the page works offline.
